Maintex introduces a complete GREEN Floor Care Program which is designed to provide a safe, and healthy building environment. Maintex chemicals and tools will ensure a green program that delivers excellent results utilizing environmentally preferable supplies.
GREEN Procedures: 1. Strip floor with Trend ES. Stripper Dilute 1 part Trend ES to 12 parts water for normal build up. Spread solution liberally to floor area and soak for 5-10 minutes prior to scrubbing. Re-wet as needed. Hand or machine scrub with black pads or stripping brush. To pick up solution after stripping use a wet/dry, autoscrubber or mop. Rinse floor thoroughly. 2. Apply Dura ZF Zinc Free Floor Finish to a completely clean, dry floor surface. Apply medium thick coats with a clean mop or microfiber applicator. Only 20-30 minutes of drying time are needed per coat. Apply 4 coats of Dura ZF the first night and 3 additional coats on a subsequent night. 3. Daily maintenance - Microfiber sweep floor surface. Clean the floor with a damp mop or autoscrubber using Trailwinds Neutral Cleaner. To increase gloss, buff or burnish using a Tennant dust control burnisher with microfiber pad. 4. Recoat quarterly or as needed after double scrubbing using blue pad with Trailwinds Neutral Cleaner. Re-apply 2-3 coats of Dura ZF after double scrubbing.
Strip every 18 months or longer as floor conditions dictate.
